The Home Office has repeatedly turned us down without fully considering the circumstances and we are seeking judicial review to prevent us being returned to a life of abuse

I am a mother of 3 children. One of my 11 year old twins has autism and severe learning disabilities. She Is happily settled into special school for the first time of her life. When we came here, she used to get distressed and hit herself, but that hardly happens now. My other daughter and 8 year old son are also settled into school. My disabled daughter and I were physically and emotionally abused over a long period of time, often witnessed by the other children. I was locked in the house and my daughter was often locked alone in a room out of the way. We have been trying to seek refugee status, but the Home Office have repeatedly refused despite accepting that these things have happened.

If we are forcibly returned, I fear that we will be found and the consequences will be dire, particularly for me and my disabled daughter. I feel that this is the only chance we have of a decent life for the children and myself.

We are trying to get a judicial review and need funds to pay for this. We expect it will cost up to £1500. The next stage will be the actual hearing, which is our last attempt to secure a future for my daughter and the rest of the family. The funding would help us to go ahead with the hearing.
