Like many people who had their life stalled from progression by the Home Office, I am hoping to be able to graduate this year and start a PhD next academic year.

My name is Ola Al-Khuraybi I am a student in my final year at University of Bristol doing Mechanical Engineering. I am a Ukrainian Yemeni girl and I have been an asylum for over 5 years in the UK, and while all of my family is here, the Home Office is trying to separate me from family. I have been able to attend university by obtaining a competitive scholarship. When I was on the verge of graduating, the Home Office imposed a study ban on me. I unfortunately do not have the funds to appeal this decision and I am asking for the public's help.

I am trying to raise £500 to pay for the legal fees of this appeal. The money would go to Duncan Lewis solicitors who have dealt with similar scenarios in the past. Please follow this link to read a summary of their previous work on similar cases https://www.gardencourtchambers.co.uk/news/home-office-concedes-unlawful-imposition-of-study-restriction-as-a-bail-condition-on-individuals-who-are-appeals-rights-exhausted

By funding Duncan Lewis' services, I will be able to appeal the study ban and graduate this year over the summer. Allowing me to graduate this year, would not only help me in my career progression and my mental health, but it will also create the opportunity for the scholarship to cover another student once I am out of the door.

Thank you for as much or as little as you can help with!
