I am a small business owner that lost my business to covid and got a job as a personal shopper during the pandemic and I had to deal with everything they threw at me. I was suicidal and felt worthless

Sorry about this, I have never done this before.............

Who am I? - My name is Amanda Groves and I was a small business owner that worked in a well known supermarket throughout the pandemic, as I lost my main contract to COVID.

Summary - I was unfairly dismissed after reporting the man that sexually assaulted me to the management team of the store I had to work in. I then had to report him to the police as the company was doing nothing and his behaviour was escalating. Due to the interpersonal relationships and colluding with each other nothing was done. It set an example which led to further sexually assaults of other employees. I was slandered, libelled, harassed and victimised by other employees and the manager's due to the companies lack of duty of care and safeguarding me. This led to this man racially and verbally abusing another employee - all on facebook.

I have evidence of fraud - a manager signed another managers name on my dismissal form, all of my claims are backed up with documentation.

Call to action -  I am building awareness for anyone that has been effected by similar or the same situations, I hope to give them a voice!

What are we trying to achieve? - We are trying to make sure this never happens again during a global pandemic, I want to build awareness to stop companies from not abiding by police instruction and from companies being able to dismiss employees when they have done the right thing, and reported a crime that protects other people from being sexually assaulted, racially abused and harassed.

What is the next step in the case? - 4 tribunals and we raising a personal injuries claim to make sure the us and other victims are remumerated for the disgusting treatment they were victim of.

How much we are raising and why? - we are raising £20,000 to help with legal fees and building awareness and a support network.

Thank you so much! Women have had a raw deal throughout history and enough is enough!  Why are we the underdog putting up with sexual harassment and assault in our day to day lives and in the workplace!
