Help Scott Find Answers After the E-Bike Fire That Took His Family

On 30 June 2023, I tragically lost my partner, Gemma, and our two children, Lilly, aged 8, and Oliver, aged 4, in a devastating fire at our family home in Cambridge. The fire was caused by an e-bike battery. I survived but suffered serious injuries and spent around a month in a coma. We also lost our two beloved family dogs.

In October 2026, a two-day inquest will examine how Gemma, Lilly and Oliver came by their deaths. It will consider the circumstances surrounding the fire and whether any safety issues need to be addressed to help prevent similar tragedies in the future.

To ensure I can fully participate in the inquest, I need legal representation. Having experienced lawyers by my side will help me understand the evidence, ask the right questions, and seek the answers my family deserves. It will also help ensure that any lessons that could prevent another family from suffering such a devastating loss are identified and acted upon.

Please consider donating to help fund my legal representation at the inquest. Your support will give me the best possible opportunity to uncover the truth about what happened to my family and to help improve safety so that others may be spared the same heartbreak.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
