This case is raising funds for its stretch target. Your pledge will be collected within the next 24-48 hours (and it only takes two minutes to pledge!)

The controversial Government high speed rail project (HS2) is continuing to destroy wildlife habitats and ancient woodlands and to threaten our fresh drinking water supplies from the Mid Chilterns Chalk aquifer underlying the Mid Colne Valley in Hillingdon. HS2 Ltd has continued the destruction throughout the Covid-19 emergency.

On top of that the Secretary for State for Transport and HS2 Ltd have named me as a Defendant in their High Court case to renew the Injunctions at Harvil Road. The hearing which is due on 22 June will take place virtually. HS2 are alleging that I (among others) have committed unlawful activities which I am denying. The penalty for breaking high court Injunctions can be severe. However I am alleging that HS2 Ltd contractors are engaged in unlawful activities, including the destruction of protected habitat and species, in Denham Country Park.

My initial target is £3,000 with a stretch target of £7,000. This is to pay my solicitor and barrister.

I have been working closely with solicitors investigating HS2 lack of compliance with European environmental protection laws. We have a current claim CHAP(2019)03209  in the European Parliament claiming that the UK Government is in breach of the Drinking Water Directive and the Water Framework Directive. Any additional funds raised will go towards fighting the EU case.
