We have pushed for Marriage Equality in Bermuda since April 2015 and will not stop until equality is secure in Bermuda.

The Bermuda Government are trying to ban same-sex marriage AGAIN - this time at the Privy Council.

We are challenging the Bermuda Government’s appeal to the Privy Council to ban same-sex marriage and we need your support for one last push to secure equality in Bermuda. Please contribute anything you can and share this page with your friends, family and on social media.

This isn't just about Bermuda.

The importance of the Bermuda case will be precedent-setting and will have far-reaching consequences for other British territories and jurisdictions, whereby Same-Sex Marriage can become legal if the Privy Council deny the Bermuda Government appeal.

Case Background

To date, we have won two Supreme Court cases against the Bermuda Government who have been relentless in their desire to retain a ban on same-sex marriage. The right to same-sex marriage was affirmed a third time at the Court of Appeal.

Not satisfied with 3 defeats in the courts, the Bermuda Government are making one last attempt to deny Marriage Equality in Bermuda via the Privy Council.

We created a website that has the history of the fight for Marriage Equality in Bermuda.

How much are we raising and why?

We are seeking financial support to fund Queens Counsel and local Bermuda Counsel appearing at the Privy Council against the Bermuda Government and their well funded legal team.

Initially, we will be raising £2,500 to ensure we have a minimum of representation but we need to go on and raise as much as possible to cover all possible costs.

Thank you so much for your support.
