Appeal to Fight Against my Dad's 18 Year Conviction
Appeal to Fight Against my Dad's 18 Year Conviction
Hello to All,
I am writing this plea on behalf of my Dad, who was convicted to an 18 Year prison sentence in October 2016. Since 2014, my families lives have been destroyed at the hands of the alleged criminal justice system. For the previous 4 years, I have sat through numerous days at trial and counsel meetings for my Dad to support him in his quest to prove his innocence against the conviction he received for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
My Dad is an extremely hard working man who established his own successful business in his late 30's. He was considered to be the main breadwinner for my family and had studied and worked hard his entire life to provide for his wife and children. His credible business has now been tainted by the twisted portrayal of him by the CPS to the public. Having always had a passion for Chemistry, my Dad completed a degree and studied hard to become a fully trained Analytical Chemist which allowed him to pursue a career in becoming an Analytical Chemist, working for himself.
When you deliberate the word 'conspiracy', you develop connotations of thoughts or creating a plan to do something. The reason my Dad was convicted for a conspiracy charge is because there was no evidence of Class A drugs ever found, not even 0.01g. He is merely serving an 18 year sentence because the CPS concealed and twisted evidence to make a jury believe he had actually supplied Class A drugs. However, in reality, he was an entrepreneur who was growing his business in a background he was well trained in. He understands the complexity of chemicals and can meticulously analyse any substance to know it's true content. He would only ever engage in legitimate business. Another factor leading to this conviction, is the persistent efforts of the Crown Prosecution Service to conceal and disallow evidence within the trial, crucial evidence to prove my Dads innocence.
Myself and family believe in my Dads innocence and are currently trying to raise the funds to prove this at the Court of Appeal. Unfortunately, as a consequence of a drugs conviction, all your life's earnings are put under immense scrutiny and as a consequence my family in the process of losing everything. We therefore appreciate any donations possible to help us return my Dad home and to start rebuilding our lives and to highlight the persistent errors within the Crown Prosecution Service and maybe encourage others to take a closer look into their proceedings.
