The prognosis given to her at the time reduced by eight years after the first year and by another five and a half years during her final year.

1. At the outset, they let the skeletal secondary cancer disease go on the rampage for 18 months, performing the mastectomy and withholding chemo all the while.
2. As a result, they prematurely had to prepare the patient for hip replacement surgery, to pre-empt fractures, but did not do it. Eight months later, after fracturing, more difficult surgery had to be done as an emergency, and tumours had by then been released to the liver.
3. They quadrupled the opioid dose on the day of hip surgery compared to two months earlier (for short periods of time they more than quadrupled it) and then did not reduce it in stages, thus unnecessarily preventing normal eating, conversation and occupational therapy.
4. They said the taxol (chemo) was not working (and fatally withheld it) when tumours and symptoms were actually reducing.
5. By thus speeding up the disease, they caused it to arrive at its destination sooner - end of life.

Delays have caused the time and cost of the lawyer to overshoot.
