My case
I had an accident at work at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, on the 21/12/1998. I was spraying the hospital cleaning chemical onto the shower room floor when the spray pump malfunctioned and the cleaning chemical sprayed into my face causing me to cough, and have shortness of breath, I did not have a face mask to use.
I am still suffering with chronic cough asthma.
The claim did not settle out of court, nor did it go to court, despite me having a union solicitor. I am having difficulty in keeping jobs and to get employment, because of chronic, persistent cough.
Why am I raising funds?
I am crowdfunding for £2,000 to pay for my solicitor's costs. As it is past the time limit, I cannot do it on a No Win No fee basis.
