Who am I?

My name is Zed Phoenix and I'm the co-founder of the social media platform govote.org.uk. We are launching a legal challenge against the UK government regarding the proposed introduction of the health/immunity passport system and their related technologies.

Summary

We are challenging the UK government’s relationship with technology companies. The NHS APP, Apple & Google's Covid-19 track and trace update, VST-Enterprises Health Passport, Onfido's Immunity Passport,  are all creating a digital surveillance network - under the guise of protecting public health.

We believe that the UK Government has acted illegally and inappropriately in circumventing the law and our democracy by supporting private technology companies. They are building the infrastructure for a total surveillance network which will remain long after Covid-19 emergency is over.

The UK Government is in the process of handing over control of our society to powerful global technology companies. They are giving away our rights, freedoms and democracy without any public consultation, due process or Parliamentary oversight. They are using the Covid-19 health emergency as an excuse to implement a new, technology based social system.

The extent of surveillance within the health passport system includes;  Using mobile phones to control individuals, digital I.D, real time data collection, processing and storage of personal information, real time tracking of individuals, national security issues, mandating vaccines and therapeutics, creating a cashless society, 5G network, privacy concerns and civil liberty issues and more.

What we wish to achieve in bringing this case, is simple... FREEDOM. We want freedom to choose what technology we interact with, without being spied on by our governments or corporations. Freedom from big tech companies involvement with government and matters of state. Freedom from the govt's surveillance society. Freedom for individuals; the right to an individual’s liberty and freedom to have a private life, without state interference. Freedom to be anonymous, freedom to live without being surveilled tracked and traced 24/7.

I believe an observed life, isn't a free life

Call to action

Our first step is to build our case and raise a Letter Before Action which sets out in detail our arguments and allows the UK Govt to respond.  We will then commence with the Judicial Review process.

We need to raise £25,000 to perform the initial work in this case.  We will then need to go on to raise in excess of £120,000 to take this case through to completion.

All funds will be transferred directly to our legal team to fund this action.

We need your support if we are to avoid living in an Orwellian nightmare for generations to come. Please contribute and share this page now!

Thank you
