Who am I?
I’m Dillon, a qualified finance professional with a strong commitment to fairness, ethics, and professional accountability. I’ve worked in regulated environments where documentation accuracy, transparency, and integrity are critical - including audit and financial reporting.
I’ve always believed that when concerns arise, particularly in regulated sectors, they should be addressed fairly, without fear or favour. That belief now forms the foundation of my legal case.
Summary of the Case
In mid-2024, I raised internal concerns about potential race discrimination, unfair feedback, and how documentation standards were applied during a regulated engagement that impacts the reliability of public financial reporting. I followed the employer’s internal procedures and later submitted a protected disclosure under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 (PIDA).
I encountered significant challenges with the internal process, including concerns about how information was handled and the timing of key communications. These issues are now part of a legal claim I have brought before the Employment Tribunal.
The claim includes race discrimination, harassment, victimisation, and detriment arising from a protected disclosure made in the public interest. These claims will be considered by the Tribunal through the formal process.
Call to Action
I’m raising funds to access legal support during this critical stage of the case. Your contribution will help ensure that the claim is presented fairly, professionally, and with the legal rigour it deserves - not just for me, but to uphold values that matter in regulated industries.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign is just as powerful.
What Are We Trying to Achieve?
While this claim is rooted in personal experience, it raises broader questions about how organisations in regulated sectors handle internal concerns and protect individuals who raise them.
It is also about reinforcing trust in public interest processes - especially where documentation standards and regulatory responsibilities intersect with issues of fair treatment.
Supporting this campaign helps promote a working culture where ethical concerns are heard and fair treatment is upheld - especially in regulated professions.
What’s the Next Step in the Case?
A final hearing at the Employment Tribunal is scheduled for later in 2025. I have submitted my initial claim and Schedule of Loss and now seek to amend the claim to include detriment following a protected disclosure made in the public interest.
Legal advice is essential to ensure the claim is properly framed, procedurally compliant, and effectively argued. With professional support, I can move through this next stage with confidence and due process.
How Much Are We Raising and Why?
I’m seeking to raise an initial £3,000 to cover essential legal costs - including claim amendment, early-stage legal drafting, and preparation for the disclosure phase.
If the initial target is met, a stretch goal of £6,000 will help cover further legal preparation, document handling, and advocacy in the lead-up to the hearing.
Every contribution supports a stronger case and ensures fairness remains within reach.
Thank You
