I am crowdfunding so that my family can be reunited here in the UK.

I am Iyad Okasha, a British national of Palestinian origin.

Before Covid I worked in the UAE, and lived with my wife and two daughters. My wife is a Palestinian, born in Syria. After we married, in March 2018 she moved to the UAE so we could live together. She brought my step daughter and we had another daughter on 6 January 2019. Everything was going well until the pandemic which meant I lost my job with Ettihad Airways where I had worked from 2012 until losing my job in August 2020. That meant my right to live in the UAE came to an end, and I could not bring them back to the UK so they had to go to Syria. It is very dangerous for them where they are in Syria but they had no option but to go there.  I struggled to get work for some time, but now I have got a job, they can met the rules for a visa in around 2 months. The problem I have is that I am sending all the money I can back to them because of their difficult situation, so I cannot afford the visa or legal fees.

I am raising these funds so we can be reunited as a family!

What is the next step in the case? Once I have been in my job for 6 months (this will be in mid April 2022) I will be able to apply for my wife and daughters to join me, and we can be a family again. I am looking to raise funds to meet the visa application fees and the legal fees.

I am looking to raise £3,000.

Thankyou
