Who are we?

Rebels from XR York need your help to raise funds for legal fees following several arrests at the International Rebellion in April and many more anticipated arrests at the upcoming Worldwide Rebellion (October).

Many rebels are already facing the financial and emotional stress of the court process and legal charges. We want to stand with them in solidarity and help to cover the costs of standing up for what they believe in however we can. We are expecting many more arrests at the rebellion in October and would like these rebels to know that support is already in place should they need it.

XR have played a pivotal role in raising climate change and environmental breakdown to the top of the media and political agenda, with polls showing that public concern is now at an all time high. We need to keep up the pressure on our government to make sure it takes action against the Climate and Ecological Crisis. The actions of York rebels are essential.
