My wife and I are in our 60's. We owned and operated a senior care franchise business for over 12 years without any complaints. We had to sell the business to raise money to fight the EEOC lawsuit.

The EEOC sued our senior home care franchise business for discrimination related to inappropriate sexual behavior by one of our 80 year old male clients.  Over the course of three years of providing service, his condition deteriorated from able bodied and mentally alert to bedridden and suffering from dementia. He ultimately passed away at home.

The EEOC sued us after offering NO Conciliation, NO Guidance and NO Good faith.  According to their press release,  "It is important for the EEOC to send a message to the industry that their employees need to be protected from abusive behavior."

Home care providers work every day to protect their employees who are doing the incredibly challenging work of caring for seniors in their homes.  While it is necessary to protect employees,  it is also important to allow seniors to age in place at home, rather than being forced into an institutional setting as soon as they develop behavioral problems associated with dementia.

Help us send a message back to the EEOC that they cannot intimidate us or deny seniors the right to home care services by helping fund our legal defense.  Any funds not used for our defense will be contributed to the Alzheimer's Association.
