I am a former law student who was put under a 2 month investigation for stating my opinion when asked in a debate during a law lecture.

I'm Lisa Keogh. I was a Law Student at Abertay and I was investigated for "inappropriate comments" during my final months at university while sitting my final exams and making my final submissions.

The Sheriff has dismissed my case saying that there was no detriment to me. This is something that I would argue isn't true. At the most crucial part of my university career I was subject to a 2 month investigation for saying 3 things.

"Women have vagina's"

"Not all men are rapists"

"Men on average are physically stronger than women"

These statements caused hurt feelings and ruined my law career.

We need to raise enough money to appeal this so I would urge you to share this page as much as possible and donate if you are in a position to do so.

My free speech was suppressed and my hope is that this never happens to anyone again, especially in a debate in a university setting.

We are now moving forward with an appeal and I hope that you will all continue to support me. Thank you for all of the support you have shown so far. Without your kind words, support and donations we wouldn't have got this far.
