I’ve been trying to keep going through the cold truth of what being sued really means, even at the costs stage. It doesn’t just drain money; it steals your time, your energy, and your attention from the people who need you most.

I’m deeply grateful to my partner, Noemi. She has been incredibly understanding. When the stress became too much, she took me to Hungary to stay with her mother as a way to breathe and reset. But even there, I still spent a lot of my time glued to a computer, preparing documents for the costs hearing. When I’m working relentlessly, my children and Noemi are the ones who suffer. I’m physically present, but emotionally withdrawn, caught up in the fight I can’t switch off.

And it hits hard financially too. Even when you do the right things, court and legal costs can mean your family doesn’t get the benefit of your effort. They’re still struggling while you’re running on fumes. It can feel like being a hamster on a wheel.

Sometimes it becomes all-consuming. I’ve worked through the night, one stretch of a whole weekend straight without sleep, simply preparing as a litigant in person, it makes you hallucinate with tiredness. Even with representation, I’ve still had to hold and manage much of the documentation. I’ve had to build everything in the best format so my legal team can use it properly and give me the best possible chance.

This is why your support matters. Every donation helps me keep momentum through the costs hearing, and it reduces the pressure on my family while we push forward.

I feel a genuine bond with everyone who has helped me, and I promise to carry the torch for free speech and resilience going forward.I want to clearly explain how the funds are being used, because many people have kindly offered CFAs or reduced fees.For most of this case I was a litigant‑in‑person, working through tens of thousands of emails and documents. RPC are fully paid for their work — the purpose of this fundraiser was to secure a Costs Draftsman to attend the hearing. Thanks to your generosity, that goal has now been met.However, to ensure the strongest possible representation at the upcoming four‑day High Court costs trial, I now need to instruct a Costs Barrister. The barrister I plan to instruct had already committed significant time to the case and is familiar with the history, so I have extended the stretch goal to cover this essential final stage.This case has been incredibly complex: three sets of solicitors, three barristers, a fourth involved on costs, one costs draftsman, one costs barrister, and multiple pro‑bono organisations. All of this work must be completed before November, when the costs trial begins. It is a huge undertaking requiring intense focus and a great deal of my time.Your support genuinely makes the difference between standing alone and having proper representation. I never thought a litigant person like me would be able to obtain the resources to come this far and it is all thanks to my backers, rounds of crowdfunding and kind people including you reading this message. These guys are helping ordinary people gain fair representation against people with deeper pockets, for that I owe everything.

Some of you have reached out contacting me via The Free Speech Union and various other means I have instructed going forward they can pass my details on, I have so much time for all of you and people that have supported me, I will be contacting you today and thanking you for your kindness we can also stay in contact, I am so apprechiative and feel a close bond to everyone who has supported me. I promise going forward to hold the tourch for free speech and resiliance.

I have been really touched with everyones donations, I just want to clarify how the money will be spent as I have had a lot of people reach out offering me CFA's and reduced fees which is really kind and touching.

My case a majority of the time I was a Litignat Person, that requires shifting through tens of thousands of emails and providing them to my legal team. My legal team are fully paid up, the money being raised was for a Costs Drafstman to attend on the day. Now I have reached that goal to give me the best representation possible I will need a costs Barrister to attend court, the one I plan to instruct has already has significant funds and is aware of the case so I have extended the Stretch as a few people have reached out offering to share.

It's a massive undertaking for any legal team caused by the complexity and sheer length of the case which started with pre actions in 2019, I have had 3 sets of lawyers, 3 barristers with the involvement of a fourth one costs draftsman and one costs barrister, multiple probono assistance and organisations helping me. As you can imagine the costs Barrister and Costs Lawyers are significantly committed and have been working already on the case. I have to get all this done and completed by November as you will see the dates on my previous update where there will be a 4 day costs trial in the high court, it's an incredibly difficult task requiring great focus and lots of my spare time.
