I founded the iconic Shoreditch Art Wall in 2011 and have had the pleasure to support many London-based and international artists and charities, and the wall has featured many major ad campaigns.

My Shoreditch Art Wall business was destroyed by a multi-billion dollar American- owned developer, financier and entertainment corporation.

Who am I, and what am I trying to do?

My name is Peter Mackeonis and I started the 'Shoreditch Art Wall' in 2011, and I'm suing an American-owned real-estate developer for closing my business without notice and compensation . I had been operating the wall as an advertising business for 13 months, on the understanding that I had a 3-year agreement in place with Cain International, before they gave the wall to another company to run

Why should you support my cause?

It might be too late to stop the exclusive Shoreditch Developments, but it's not too late to teach wealthy foreign developers like Cain International that might is not right.

What is my case about?

My case is about common decency, as well as, a broken legal arrangement.  I had been legally using the Shoreditch Art Wall, a 60 sq. meter Victorian wall on Great Eastern Street, for business purposes since November 2011.  I let artists and charities paint for free while charging advertisers.  At first, when Cain International began the 'Stage' development, they encouraged me to continue renting out the wall because it deterred graffiti and the high-end art and advertising enhanced their luxury development and construction site.  But after 15 months and without notice, in the middle of an ad campaign, they barred my access to the wall, which closed my business.

I had been operating the wall as an advertising business for 13 months, on the understanding that I had a 3-year agreement in place with Cain International, before they gave the wall to another company to run.

Cain International are powerful and arrogant.

When I emailed Cain International's director and 'Entrepreneur of the Year,' Jonathan Goldstein, to question why they had taken the wall away, he just emailed me back, "It's not your wall it's ours.  You want to sue then please issue proceedings."

The other director of Cain InternationalTodd Boehly, CEO of Eldridge Industries, the multi-billion-dollar company that owns companies including the 'Los Angeles Dodgers,' 'Billboard Magazine' and the Los Angeles-based production house behind the  'House of Cards,' wouldn't return my calls.

It's time we all took a stand.  We've tried to reason with the developers, to arrive at a fair solution, but they're not interested, so we need your help.

PLEASE DONATE whatever you can, to fund this vital case,
and PLEASE HELP BY FORWARDING THIS APPEAL to anyone you feel would be interested in our cause.
