Thank you for your interest, your support and your time.

How did it get started?

It all started in September of 2009, at a swimming party at my house on Labor Day. The swimming party was for the children. One of the adults at the pool was a lifeguard, so we felt that everything would be OK.

At some point one of the parents recognized that one of the kids named Albert was in trouble and immediately my wife, her sister who was the lifeguard, along with my 10-year-old son dove in the pool trying to save Albert. I was in another part of the house at the time and was not aware of what was happening until too late. One of the parents called 911 and paramedics were there in minutes because the fire station was just blocks away. They were able to get a pulse, but it was to no avail. Seven-year-old Albert died on his way to the hospital.

We were all devastated!!!! I was asked to speak at Albert's funeral and tried my best to comfort his family and all the families that were there reeling in emotional pain. This was a breaking point for me as my mom was already suffering with the end stages of cancer and then this tragic loss. It was just too much for me.

I couldn't even go into the backyard. The whole family was devastated, and we kept asking, "how could this happen”. It was during this time period, when I asked, what is the meaning of it all? I asked myself "What if we had a second set of eyes,"

It was then, that I began to imagine a device that could save millions from swimming accidents. So I went to work to create and patent a device called the "Albert Jones Anti-Distress Device" or "AJADD" and from that vision, Better Life Technologies Group, Inc. (BLTG) and sister company ViQual Medical Technology LLC (VMT) and technology that also could be used in monitoring Diabetes, Cancer, Alzheimer's disease and a host of other ailments was developed.

Who we are

Better Life Technologies Group, Inc.(BLTG) and sister company ViQual Medical Technology LLC (VMT) is a small medical technology development company located in Chula Vista, CA that that is at the forefront of innovation in human vitality monitoring within the wireless wearable technology revolution and first started applying for patents for life saving technologies back in 2010 after that horrific tragedy.

Summary

It is a very common thing today to hear about technology that has been stolen from a small company by larger companies or Corporations with the large companies basically bullying the small company because LARGE Corporations will usually have more money than the small business owner to fight a long battle in the courts.

I have put my life savings into this project, I have missed time with family and friends. I have invested everything I am and everything I have in the hopes of preventing another tragedy like the one we experienced with Albert so another family might not have to lose a loved one before it is time due to an accidental drowning or a medical condition that could have been better diagnosed.

The Case

Our representatives began speaking to C-level Officers in the Kaiser Permanente Corporation in 2011-2012 and had several meetings regarding our innovative Physician to Patient wireless-wearable communication technologies and late in 2016 we discovered that Kaiser Permanente Inc, after meeting with us for the sole purpose of exploring the possibilities of investing in the development of our products, allegedly used our proprietary trade secrets to enter into business relationships with our competitors and other unauthorized companies and have been generating income off our trade secrets to this day.

As a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) a Non-Compete Non-Disclosure agreement (NDA) with Better Life / Viqual and Kaiser Permanente Inc. was agreed to and signed to protect our intellectual property and trade secrets that we were going to, and did disclose, in those meetings.

In 2017, Better Life Technologies Groups Inc. filed a civil action law suit in the US District Court in the Southern District of California against Kaiser Permanente, Inc., alleging patent infringement, breach of contract, and misappropriation of trade secrets and ViQual Medical Technology LLC also filed a civil action law suit in SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO – CENTRAL DIVISION alleging breach of contract, and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Better Life/ViQual has several prototypes of its intended technology and is still seeking funding to get its products to market and had hoped, to no avail, that our relationship with medical technology GIANT Kaiser Permanente Inc would have assisted in successfully launching our technology and devices.

How much are we raising and what will we do with the money?

Better Life/ViQual needs help with our legal fees, which our attorney has estimated in total to be in excess of $50,000. (All proceeds will be applied to attorney costs and fees).

We are first looking to raise $25,000 dollars and will raise the remaining of our total as the case proceeds.

Thank you again for your time, your interest and your support.
