I am the director of Human Rights for Yemen, a voluntary organisation, which is seeking to get justice for the people of Yemen against those responsible for war crimes in Yemen

Who are we?

We are a group of volunteers who have been campaigning to support the people of Yemen from the start of the military air strikes and blockade by the Saudi-led coalition of some 15-17 countries.

"A man-made catastrophe is unfolding before our eyes." Former UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon.

What is the case?

We have gathered ample evidence to prosecute those responsible for thousands of war crimes in Yemen. We are confident that the UK is obliged by Statute and international conventions to proceed with the prosecutions sought.

We will be working with Holden Haie Solicitors.

We are turning to legal action after working on this matter on all levels: from media campaigns to attendances at the UN Human Rights Council to expose the nature and horrors created by the military campaigns of the Saudi-led coalition.

Please support us by making a contribution now!

Why do we need the money?

Such cases are "weighty" and will cost substantial amounts of money as we will be hiring QCs and expect lengthy court proceedings.

Funds will enable us to:

1. Pay fees of our expert consultant Barrister for the preparation of the case;

2.  Progress our application to the Attorney General to bring proceedings under UK Statute;

3.  Arrange for professional translation of witness evidence from Arabic to English.

The case is very important for both UK jurisdiction and international relations as it involves upholding the rule of law and democracy, which is why we are taking the matter very seriously as it touches and concerns our basic British values.

This legal action is the first step towards justice.

We will not stop our endeavours until justice is done and is seen to be done in accordance with our core national values in the UK.
