This fund has been set up to support XR Lambeth Rebels with costs arising from the legal process.

In 2019 you donated £1,580 to help XR Lambeth rebels who were facing legal costs. As the XR's rebellions continue, so does the number of local rebels who need your support!

Since October 2018 rebels have been taking part in acts of civil disobedience with over 3000 being arrested in the name of Extinction Rebellion. Lambeth rebels have been active in this and are now going through the court system, with some rebels opting to go to trial as an extension of the disruption and the campaign.

Non-violent Direct Action is working, our movement is growing and the Climate & Ecological Emergency is now filtering into the mainstream, but the UK Government is still failing to act adequately. We have a way to go!

Mounting defence fees can be a daunting prospect for individuals to face and the costs are likely to have a substantial impact for many rebels. The money donated to this fund will help ease that burden and empower Rebels when making their decision to take their case to trail by easing the personal cost of doing so.

Please donate anything you can, and share this page widely with your friends, family and on social media.
