We are a group of Ahmed's friends trying to help him by asking the Home office to give him the chance to finish his PhD in the UK.

After completing a Masters at the University of Sheffield, he started his doctorate in Computer Science at the same institution. He is now in a position where he might not be allowed to continue his studies.

Ahmed is from Mosul, Iraq, a city torn apart by the presence of ISIS, he has lost his dad and his family has been greatly affected by the occupation.

After misinforming him about his valid student visa and rejecting his asylum application. He was detained for ten days by the Home Office, treated like a criminal, with limited facilities. The Home Office didn't only want to deprive him from his education but to deport him to his potential death.

The cost of the case is estimated to be 15k by the solicitor.
