You may know me from Celebs Go Dating.
I have brought a claim to the Employment Tribunal against Eden Blackman for harassing me and subjecting me to gender discrimination when he was a co-host on the show.
It took me a long time to find the strength and courage to bring a claim against him. It’s been a long difficult journey I have had several mental health episodes thanks to his harassment and bullying one so bad it which resulted in my hospitalisation. He has continued to bully and gaslight me online and on one occasion whilst filming he said, “If you think I am a bully now, just wait, I will f*cking destroy you.” This man made my life hell on a daily basis and enough is enough.
I also claim that Lime Pictures did not protect me either during the period of harassment when Mr Blackman worked with me nor afterwards when I claim he continued to target me.
The truth is, that despite being a confident and assertive woman I was, at the time, intimidated by him. His conduct towards other women, both personal and professional, Really effected me, annoyed me and made me extremely fearful.
I was also worried about how Lime would react because they appeared to defend him everytime I made a complaint. I was treated very differently and very unfairly. The man tried to sue me over a tweet about Katie Price. This was the levels of intimidation I was dealing With.
Mr Blackman apparently left the show in early March 2018. I therefore had until June 2018 to issue my claim, but I was not aware of that legal deadline and was not in any sort of mental healthy state to do so.
Mr Blackman says my claims against him are out of time and wants them to be thrown out.
I issued my claim in early September 2018.
On 23 and 24 April 2019, I have a two day public hearing to ask the Judge to extend time and to allow my claims against him to go forward because it would be just and equitable (fair) to do so.
I have tried hard to find work since I was forced to resign (constructively dismissed) by the conduct of Lime in September 2018.
There now seems to be a stigma against me in the media market. I am told that Mr Blackman is using his contacts to “warn off” potential new employees block new work for me.
NO-ONE should ever be put in the position I was at CGD and then be left unprotected by Channel 4 or Lime production company. I am so sad and ashamed to admit I need help but I do. I need help to defend myself. I want to get justice for every single person who has ever been harassed or discriminated against. Please help me.

Women in the workplace are still being harassed, still being victimised and still NOT being believed. My case will hopefully highlight the fact that even the seemingly strongest women get ignored in the workplace and I want to make a difference so NO woman ever has to go through what I went through for years on that show.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Please follow my journey and share as much as possible. Let’s tell the harassers and big companies that we CAN and WILL fight back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
