The City of Aurora does not want to give this family pet a second chance. They have made up their minds to euthanize Bandit, we have made up our minds to save him.

Bandit is the loving family pet of  Suren Tatulyan and Olga Jeleznova.  Unfortunately,  on January 4, 2017 Bandit had a rough encounter with a delivery man and bit him.  Bandit ended up being taken from his family.  The family has been pursuing legal action to bring the dog back home.  The city of Aurora refuses to return the dog and wants to euthanize Bandit.

The city of Aurora NEVER allows Bandit to leave his kennel or get any exercise, he doesn't get walks,  and he doesn't get to participate in any of the enrichment programs that other dogs are allowed to participate in. Bandit is being denied equal protection and rights by Aurora.

Bandit is co-owned by Pit Sisters in Florida.  They are also willing as an alternative to take over full ownership of Bandit and provide him with a loving home where he will be able to live out his life in a healthy, enriched, and caring environment.

The Animal Law Center has worked with the family to offer alternative avenues to the Aurora courts with no success.  They were seeking to place Bandit back with his human family or go to Florida with his animal family.  Bandit's Colorado family has decided to pursue a federal lawsuit in hopes to save their beloved pet from being euthanized.  The Animal Law Center has filed a federal lawsuit and a federal restraining order to save Bandit's life.

The impound fees continue to stack up. The legal costs are continuing. There will also be travel fees to take Bandit to his animal family in Florida OR return Bandit to his human family. After spending almost a year in the animal shelter, with no enrichment, Bandit is in need of rehabilitation.

Bandit has stolen our hearts, so please help him be able to steal the hearts of others in the future!! He needs these attorneys to speak up for him, because he cannot speak for himself.
